Graduated from the Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada.
Worked for Nevada State Legislature before obtaining her law degree.
Studied abroad at International Court of Justice at Hague Netherlands, at International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia at Hague Netherlands, and at European Court of Human Rights in Strasburg, France.
Took Chief Justice Rehnquist History of the Supreme Court class.

Third generation Alaskan.
Co-owner of Epic Charters, a kayaking & tourism charter service in world famous Prince William Sound, Alaska.
